It's a Googly Halloween

Hi everyone,

Can't believe it has been so long since I last posted. Life just seems to get in the way of fun doesn't it?

I thought I would show you a set of cards that I made using Googly Ghouls and today being Halloween, if I don't post it now - it won't get done.

It is a set of spinner cards. I just love how the framelits really make it easy to make this type of card and they are fun to make too. I ran out of the googly eyes so my little monsters don't have any.

Here is a close up of each of the cards.

First here is Witchy Poo. She is just so cute with that big smile and spider hanging off her hair.

Next we have Frankenstein, although I don't know if he could scare anyone.

Now we have that cute little spider - Mr Eight Legs. This is the only type of spider I like. The Halloween sentiment is from the Hostess set Wacky Wishes.

Lastly we have Imhotep - any "The Mummy" fans out there? At least this one won't come back from the dead and suck the life out of you.

Did you notice Mr Bat made an appearance on each of the cards. I just simply stamped him in Versamark.

Anyway, enough prattling on from me. I am now going back to my 300 rosettes.

Thanks for looking.

'Til next time,

Daydream Medallion

Hi everyone,

Well after seeing my fabulous V8's race today around Mt Panorama and although Lowndes didn't win, he drove like a man possessed at the end and came third, I thought I might quickly share with you half of the cards for my Stamp A Stack this coming week.

Daydream Medallions was the set we got at Convention and I have to say I was a bit ho hum about it - that was until I actually sat down and had a proper play with it.

This is what I came up with.

The colour combination of Island Indigo, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla is not one that I would normally go with - but it works.

I can certainly see me using this set for Christmas cards as well.

I still have spaces for class this week so if you would like to come along and make these cards you know what do it. Just contact me.

Now, I am going back to the F1 - although Mark Webber had a horrible start, I can but hope he gets himself back into the points. (Do you think maybe I am a closet revhead?)

Thanks for looking.

'Til next time,

Juliette
