A couple of gift items

Hi everyone,

Whilst I was looking back through my photos and blog posts I realised I hadn't shared with you the matching card and gift box set that I made for my SIL for her Birthday last year.

Lisa invited me to my very first Stampin' Up! workshop way back when and I became hooked on making cards from then. This last year Lisa wanted to borrow my "Snow Swirled" stamp set for her Christmas cards so I thought I would purchase it for her for her birthday.

Here is what I came up with:

The big box down the bottom is a pizza box perfect for disguising the stamp set in. The taller box is a box I made to pop some Stazon Cleaner into it for her.

Materials Used: All Stampin' Up!
Stamps: Perfect Punches
Paper: Rich Razzleberry, Pretty in Pink
Ink: Rich Razzleberry
Other: Big Shot, Elegant Lines Embossing Folder, 1/4" Pretty in Pink Grosgrain Ribbon, Floral Fusion Sizzlet Die, Itty Bitty Punch Pack, Scallop Trim Border Punch, Dimensionals, Wide Oval Punch

Thanks for looking.

Another play with Baby Wipes

Hi everyone,

In my technique class this week we are focusing on the baby wipe technique. These two cards I am going to show you are where you pop re-inkers onto a baby wipe and then use it as a stamp pad. The really cool thing about this is that no two images are the same and you can get approx 15 to 20 images stamped from the one baby wipe. Perfect for mass producing if you are making swaps etc.

This first one is using the SAB set Bliss. I really love the flourish. It is great as a background or using it as a focal point. The colours I used for this one are Marina Mist, Wild Wasabi and Night of Navy.

This second card is using the set Printed Petals. I have used Elegant Eggplant, Melon Mambo and Perfect Plum for my 'ink pad'.

Thanks for looking.

Happy Birthday Harry and Ethan

Hi everyone,

Well today we celebrated my nephew's Harrison and Ethan's Birthdays. Although there is 3 years difference in age their birthdays are 2 weeks apart. Every year my SIL organises a family birthday party for them and every year it is stinking hot!!! This year we went to their house and my BIL got the slip and slide out for the kids to cool down in. One of the Dad's had a go as well, but for the rest of us we just looked at it longingly!!!

Anyway I would like to show you the cards that I made for them. They are basically the same.

Here is Harry's.

And here is Ethan's.

I couldn't resist using the banner from Party This Way for their names, although all that cutting out was not as much fun!!!

Materials Used: All Stampin' Up!
Stamps: Party This Way
Paper: Real Red, Pacific Point, Bashful Blue, Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz, Celebrations DSP
Ink: Real Red, Pacific Point, Pear Pizzazz, Bashful Blue
Other: Big Shot, Timeless Type Junior Alphabet Medium Sizzlet dies, Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch, Scallop Trim Border Punch, Dimensionals.

Thanks for looking.

Treat Box Cards

Hi everyone,

Thought I would show you a little appreciation gift I gave my ladies this week. These ladies come to class nearly every week and are definitely amongst my best friends. They are so funny and sometimes we don't finish class until really late - but it is all good fun.

Now I saw this treat box card on Splitcoaststampers but after realising that the box wasn't big enough to hold the Ferrero Rochers that I wanted to put in them I went back to the drawing board and made up my own measurements.

I decorated them using the DSP that the ladies were using and left them blank on the inside in case they wanted to give them away.

I think these will be a fun idea for Easter and I am already thinking of ways to decorate them. I may even incorporate them into my Easter class next month.

Thanks for looking.

Tote Bag Class

Hi everyone,

Just popping by to show you what my ladies will be making on Wednesday 16th or Thursday 17th this week.

This is my version of Lynda Moss's bag (www.stampinkins.blogspot.com).  I wanted to make mine so that it holds standard sized cards lying horizontally rather than vertically so it is wider but shorter than hers. Here I have shown it using the Elegant Soiree and Sunny Garden DSP. My ladies have had the choice of which DSP they would like to use out of Love Letter, Sunny Garden, Elegant Soiree, Blueberry Crisp and Lap of Luxury. The cost of the class is $30 but includes half a pack of the DSP along with the remaining sheets of cardstock from half a pack of cardstock (note you need 7 sheets of A4 cardstock to make this - not including embellishments). I still have spaces available and I still have packs available in Sunny Garden (2), Love Letter (1) and Lap of Luxury (1), Blueberry Crisp (1)- so if you would like to come along for a fun night then contact me to book your spot.

Thanks for looking.

'Til next time,

Juliette
