Christmas Tags

Hi everyone,

Just a quick one to remind you that in my class this week we are making 24 Christmas Tags for $15.00. There are 4 designs in total and you will make 6 of each one. Below is a set using non traditional colours - which actually fits in really well with the challenge over on Late Night Stampers.

If you would like to come and make these contact me to book your space. I do have spaces left on both Wednesday 1st Dec and Thursday 2nd Dec (classes from 7.30pm). I hope to hear from you.

Another Inspired By Nature Card

Hi everyone,

Here is another card I made using Inspired by Nature. Once again you have probably seen plenty of this type of card out in cyberspace. I actually received a card from Jenn Roberts when I was recovering from my broken ankle and this is the inspiration behind this card. Thanks Jenn.

If you have closer look at the card base you will notice I have actually stamped on it using one of my acrylic blocks. Yes just ink up any size of acrylic block and stamp away - too cool.
Materials Used: All Stampin' Up!
Stamps: Inspired By Nature, All A Flutter, Butterfly Prints
Paper: Rich Razzleberry, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White
Ink: Black Stazon, Pear Pizzazz, Rich Razzleberry, Soft Suede, Chocolate Chip, More Mustard, Cajun Craze
Other: Big Shot, Top Note Die Movers & Shapers Punch Windows Scallop Oval, Scallop Oval Punch, Acyrilic Block size C, Dimensionals.

Inspired by Kirsty Brown

Hi everyone,

I finally got around to purchasing Inspired By Nature. I don't know what took me so long but now I have it in my hot little hands. While 'Blurfing' the other week I came across a gorgeous card that Kirsty Brown made for the Clean & Simple sketch 116. Well I just had to CASE it and you will see that it is pretty much the same except I have changed Peach Parfait and Cajun Craze around, and used a different sentiment. Thanks Kirsty for your gorgeous card. I used my Stampin' Write Markers to ink up the stamp - had to make sure there was a lot of huffing done before I stamped the image!!!

This is the first time I have actually used Cajun Craze - looks good doesn't it?

Materials Used: All Stampin' Up!
Stamps: Inspired By Nature, Occasional Greetings
Paper: Peach Parfait, Cajun Craze, Whisper White
Ink: Cajun Craze, Peach Parfait Stampin' Write, Pear Pizzazz Stampin' Write, Chocolate Chip Stampin' Write
Other: Big Shot, Top Note Die, Elegant Lines Embossing Folder, Dimensionals.

Time to play!!!

Hi everyone,

Well after dragging myself around the shops looking for Christmas Presents I finally managed to have some time to play yesterday. I was determined not to do anything Christmassy as I have a heap of cards and projects to show you all next month.

I took out several stamp sets that hadn't been mounted and said to myself I need to mount these and stamp. The cards I am going to show you, you have already probably seen many of but hey check them out anyway. I inked up the Level 1 Hostess set Because I Care. Now I love hydrangeas and I love the different colours they come in depending upon the acidity of the soil. My Mum grew lovely blue ones in the UK but pink ones in Australia - how funny.

In memory of my Mum here is a card done in Pretty in Pink.

And another one done in Concord Crush.

Where did I get this particular colour combination? From the fabulous Colour Coach - now I would never have thought to put Peach Parfait, Pear Pizzaz and Concord Crush together - but it works!!!

Materials Used - All Stampin' Up!
Card 1.
Stamps: Because I Care
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery, Whisper White
Ink: Black Stazon, Pretty in Pink, Pear Pizzazz
Other: Corner Rounder, Scallop Trim Punch, Large Oval Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Blender Pen

Card 2.
Stamps: Because I Care
Paper: Concord Crush, Pear Pizzazz, Peach Parfait, Whisper White
Ink: Black Stazon, Concord Crush, Pear Pizzazz
Other: Big Shot, Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder, Large Oval Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Blender Pen.

Thanks for checking these out.

A Punchy Christmas

Hi everyone,

Just a quick one today. As promised here are the second lot of cards that we are making this week at my Christmas Stamp A Stack (well almost the sentiment on the Wreath Card has been changed). There are still places available so if you want to come just contact me to book your spot.

I don't know about you but I am getting a little over all the Christmas cards and the like so I am hoping to be back tomorrow with something different. I have heaps of new sets that haven't even seen ink yet so with a bit of luck I will have a little play time today and have something to show you tomorrow.

'Til next time,

Oh my, where has the time gone?

Hi everyone,

Well, I can't believe I haven't posted anything for such a long time. I have been so busy creating projects, doing classes etc that my poor blog has been rather neglected.

I thought I would pop by to show you some of the cards that in my Christmas Stamp A Stack this week. These cards are from the lovely set Welcome Christmas.

In my class we will be making a total of 10 cards, including envelopes for $25.00. The other set of cards are of punch art and I will pop by and show them tomorrow. I still have space for tomorrow night and Thursday night if you would like to attend. Just contact me to book your spot.

Birthday Bakery

Hi everyone,

Today is my dear friend Amanda's Birthday. This lovely young lady is one of the most thoughtful and caring people I know. While I was recovering from my broken ankle Amanda would pop over with some yummy dinner that she just happened to 'whip' up! I remember she came over for morning tea one day and not only had she made the most gorgeous white chocolate and raspberry muffins that were still warm, but out of her bag she pulled out her trusty saucepan and all the ingredients required to make a yummy pasta sauce and she made it there and then for me!!! She is one very special lady.

Anyway I wanted to show you the card that I made for her. Although Amanda comes to my classes I felt really nervous making her a card. She is a very talented paper crafter in her own right. I also made her a little box to fit a little Pandora Bead into.

Materials Used: All Stampin' Up
Stamps: Birthday Bakery (Level 1 Hostess set)
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Melon Mambo, Whisper White
Ink: Black Stazon, Melon Mambo, So Saffron, Chocolate Chip, Pear Pizzazz, Real Red, Peach Parfait, Sahara Sand, Pretty in Pink
Other: Scallop Edge Border Punch, Large Tag Punch, Small Tag Punch, 1/4" Whisper White Grosgrain Ribbon, Large Oval Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Crop a Dile, Blender Pen.
