Medallion

Hi everyone,

I am so in love with the Medallion background stamp that it had better make it into the new Idea Book & Catalogue for 2010-2011. This stamp is such a versatile stamp. You can use it just as a background or use it to make a statement and have it has the focal point. In next months technique classes I am teaching how to emboss and several techniques used within the embossing genre (sounds impressive - but really easy!!!)

This card uses the emboss resist technique and this is one of the cards that we will be making next month. Now this is not an original idea and I have cased it from the very talented Sharlene Meyers from NZ.

I have made it into a Fathers Day card - I know it is not until September but it doesn't hurt to keep an eye out and plan for these things!!!

Materials Used - all Stampin' Up!
Stamp: Medallion, Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Paper: Creamy Caramel, Very Vanilla, Close to Cocoa
Ink: Creamy Caramel, Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip
Other: Clear Embossing Powder, heat tool, 1/4" Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon, Word Window Punch, Scallop Oval Punch.

'Til next time,

Juliette
