ESAD Autumn/Winter 2010 Mini Blog Hop

Good Morning everyone,

I hope you are ready for the ESAD Blog Hop! Better go grab yourself a cuppa as you will be looking for a while.

What is ESAD you say?

ESAD stands for Extra Special Australian (and New Zealand) Demonstrators and it is an online group just for Australian and New Zealand Demonstrators for Stampin' Up!

We so love what we do and not only do we love to share it with our customers, friends and wonderful blog visitors but we share our love for what we do with each other as Demonstrators. We run swaps, challenges, tutorials, product know how and cyberstamps, and we are always there to help and support each other when there is a need.

So if you are a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand then please feel free to click here to join our wonderful group.

Now you may have arrived here from the extremely talented  Jenny Hayward, but if you are starting here don't worry you will be able to complete the hop by clicking on the name at the bottom of each post along the way.

Today I am going to showcase just the one Stamp Set, A Little Treat, along with a couple of the new in colours that they have given us. A Little Treat is the cheapest Stamp Set in the catalogue (apart from the a la carte selection) and no I haven't chosen it just because it is cheap (if you looked at my craft room you would realise that I have nearly every stamp set in the new mini catalogue LOL), but because it co-ordinates beautifully with the Sweet Treat cups. Yes these cool cups have been carried over from the Summer Mini to this new one so I am very excited.

My first card is a Snow Globe - yes it really is water inside the cup with a little bit of Dazzling Diamonds added!!!
Don't you just love the colour. It is called Melon Mambo and I think it is divine. The petals have been made by stamping the petal stamp in Melon Mambo onto Whisper White and then cutting them out. The beautiful polka dot Bashful Blue background has been made by running the card through the Big Shot (yipee!!!) using the exclusive Stampin' Up! Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder. The stalk is a just a little bit of Certainly Celery 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon. The leaves have been stamped using Certainly Celery onto Whisper White and then cut out. The sentiment is from a new Stamp Set Tiny Tags which co-ordinates beautifully with our new Medium Jewelery Tag Punch (which is a new design). The gorgeous Melon Mambo Polka Dot 1/2" Grosgrain Ribbon just finishes it off beautifully - even if I say so myself!!!

Materials Used: (all Stampin' Up!)
Stamps: A Little Treat, Tiny Tags
Paper: Melon Mambo, Bashful Blue, Whisper White
Ink: Melon Mambo, Certainly Celery.
Other: Certainly Celery 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon, Melon Mambo Polka Dot 1/2" Grosgrain Ribbon, Medium Jewelery Tag Punch, Silver Brad, Clear Rhinestone Brad, Sweet Treat Cup, 1 3/4" Circle Punch (carried over from Summer Mini)

My next card is using the Hot Air Balloon Basket.
I have used the new in colour Rich Razzleberry to stamp the Hot Air Balloon. The Sweet Treat cup forms the Balloon and to make sure that the card isn't destroyed trying to get the lollies out I have made a slider which you pull up and attached some beautiful Rich Razzleberry 1/2" Grosgrain Ribbon to it. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Sentiments (you get 24 fantastic sentiments for all occasions in this set).

Materials Used (All Stampin' Up!)
Stamps: A Little Treat, Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Paper: Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Whisper White
Other: Round Tab Punch, 1 3/4" Circle Punch , Sweet Treat Cup, Rich Razzleberry 1/2" Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon.

Lastly I have made another card using the Hot Air Balloon - but to show you that you can make a similar card without the Sweet Treat Cups.
This time I have stamped the Balloon Basket onto a scrape of Whisper White using Melon Mambo and then cut it out. Layered it onto a base of Bashful Blue which has once again been embossed with Perfect Polka Dots, which has been layered onto Whisper White, then onto the Melon Mambo base. The Balloon is Old Olive using the Scallop Circle Punch. The sentiment is once again from Teeny Tiny Wishes and has been stamped using Melon Mambo and the punched out using the 1 3/8" punch.

Materials Used: (All Stampin' Up!)
Stamps: A Little Treat, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: Melon Mambo, Whisper White, Bashful Blue, Old Olive
Ink: Melon Mamo
Other: Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Dimensionals.

Well that's all from me.

We are again offering Blog Candy for our Blog Hop. What you need to do is complete the blog hop until you get back to me. Once you've visited and commented on every blog then you will need to email Sharlene at stampwithsharlene@hotmail.com who will then put your name into the draw for the blog candy. There will be one winner from New Zealand and one winner from Australia. So start hoppin' by going to the next blog being  Karen Dillon.

Oh and there will be another blog hop next week from some more Extremely Special Australian (and New Zealand) Demonstrators. I will leave a link on this blog so you can find your way there next Wednesday (7th April).

'Til next time,

Juliette
